Makeup of the Day!

Hey girls! I'm back with another post,
and today's look is just going to go through
what i'm wearing today from start to finish!
So if you girls would like to see how I got this look
and the products I used, then just keep reading :)

1st Step
Face Products:

Sephora Pore Filler Face Primer
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
L'Oreal True Match Foundation
Sephora Mattifying Powder

Before applying my foundation I primed my face with
my Sephora primer, that fills in pores and creates an even
surface for foundation application. It also helps to
make your makeup last all day long.
Next conceal dark circles and any blemishes you may
have. The Age Rewind Concealer works wonders
for hiding dark under eye circles.
Foundation is next and today I tried out the L'Oreal True match
and I must say I absolutely love it! My shade is a newer shade
to the line and is in perfect beige. I dotted my foundation all over
my face and then blending it in using a medium sized flat top kabuki.
Lastly, take a mattifying powder and apply
to you T-zone or any where you might get oily
throughout the day.

Second Step
Eyes:

BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Maybelline Mega Plush and Falsies Mascara
Sephora Liquid Eye Liner

So for the eyes its very important to use a primer so that
your shadow stay put all day as eyelids tend to get very greasy
causing makeup to crease.
I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion and use it everyday-its amazing.
Once you've primed your eyes, I took a fluffy blending brush
and took a purply brown colour (2nd row from top, 2nd shadow on left)
and blended it into the crease to act as a blending colour.
Next I took a shimmery white colour, and placed that on the
inner half of my eyes to brighten it up.
Using a small smudging brush, I took a medium matte brown shade
(1st row, 6th shade from the left)
and worked that into the outer V of my eye.
Take a large fluffy blending brush and blend together.
Next I used a darker brown shade with some shimmer
(2nd row, 4th shade from the right)
and used that to darken up the outer V a little more.
Once I got it to a shade I was happy with, I again
took the large blending brush and blending everything together
so there were no harsh lines.
For highlighting I used the same shimmery white colour and
placed it on my brow bone and inner tear duct.
Next I used my favourite liquid liner and did a very simple
winged look.
Lastly for mascara I used two coats of the Mega Plush and one
coat of the Falsies.
Now the eyes are complete.

Step 3
Blush and Contour:

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush
Elf Blush and Contour set

Now you can do this step before doing your eyes
however I like to leave it till the end while
I'm waiting for my liquid eyeliner to dry.
Take a small contour brush and use a dark bronzy shade
to contour the hollows of your cheeks.
I love the one from elf and have practically nothing left.
For blush I wanted something very light and mousse blush
is perfect for summer as it doesn't look to heavy or cakey.
This shade is called Berry Rose and it is such
a subtle pink and gives the appearance of a sun kissed glow.
Lastly, take a large kabuki brush and blend everything.

Final Step
Lips:

Revlon's Prim Rose
Nyx Lipgloss

Keeping with the pink theme on my cheeks,
I chose this very light nude pink lipstick so as
to keep the focus on my eyes.
I added a little bit of a pink shimmery lipgloss
and the look is now complete!
